The Builders Association is proud to host the first unit of the AGC of America's Lean Construction Education Program, Variation in Production Systems. The course will be taught by Marquette University Construction Management Chair Mark Federle. To register, fax a completed form to 847-318-8586.

As highlighted in past BA publications, Lean Construction is based on the holistic pursuit of continuous improvements aimed at minimizing costs and maximizing value on a construction project: planning, design, construction, activation, operations, maintenance, salvaging, and recycling. The AGC's Program includes courses on:

  • Variation and pull in production
  • Lean workstructuring, supply chains, and assembly
  • Production management
  • Management by values
  • Problem-solving principles and tools
