As reported by the AGC of America and numerous other sources, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has again delayed the effective date of a new regulation requiring private sector employers to post union sign-up rules. Instead of January 31, these regulations now have a tentative posting date of April 30, pending numerous court challenges and a judge's request for more time to consider the issues.

In other recent NLRB news, a final rule on "quickie" union elections was recently issued, and President Barack Obama recently filled three slots on the Board without Senate approval via recess appointments. For more on these or any other labor issues, contact Director of Labor Denise Herdrich.
