AGC and the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) request input from construction contractors to improve three tools that will aid in development of green buildings and other infrastructure. The areas to comment on are:
- Building Energy-Toolkit Pilot
-
Draft LEED 2012
-
Sustainable Infrastructure Rating Tool
Building Energy- Toolkit Pilot
The toolkit is based on AGC and DOE Building Codes Program. The new piloting toolkit utilizes DOE’s thousands of online material and compiles resources most relevant, which will be accessed through a portal on the AGC website.
The toolkit is available at the AGC-BECP Resource Page. AGC would like to receive input from members during the pilot stage. Note if the resources are available, relevant and important or if material is missing. Comments should be left by September 16, 2011 and e-mailed to tominom@agc.org.
