Plumbers, IBEW Reach Agreements
A new collective bargaining agreement was ratified August 4 by Plumbers Local 130, which had been negotiating with the Plumbing Contractors Association. Language changes including Standards for Excellence were agreed to. Economic terms called for increases of 3.25% in each year of a three-year deal.
In other negotiations, IBEW Locals 117, 150, 461 and 701 (residential) reached a deal to roll over the existing agreement for one year. There may be a reallocation from the base wage rate to benefit plans yet to be determined.
