Searching for Solutions to Underwater Pensions

Through programs featuring nationally-recognized labor and pension experts in the last four years, the Builders Association has worked to inform its membership of several aspects of the multiemployer pension crisis. The AGC of America is taking steps to bring about long-term systemic change and is working on developing an effective and politically feasible proposal to send to Congress.  

One of the AGC's partners in this effort, the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), has helped create a comprehensive inventory of multiemployer pension plans for all trades using information from the Department of Labor.
