Through consulting and reasoning with the Environmental Protection Agency, the AGC of America has been able to make a measurable legislative impact this year on environmental matters, as it did on the EPA's Stormwater Runoff Proposal. Through action on stormwater alone, the AGC may have saved contractors an estimated $35,000 per construction job (cost of training to measure runoff, time for analysis, fines, etc.).
