The Builders Association would like to congratulate Tyler Lane Construction on placing third in its division of the AGC of America's Construction Safety Excellence Awards program. The company received the honor during the AGC of America's Annual Convention in Hawaii and beat out thousands of contractors to place third in the under 100,000-man hours division.

Builders Association members have won over 20 national safety awards from the AGC in the last 10 years, and Tyler Lane stands out as both a member of the Association's Safety Partnership with OSHA and one of two companies to win a Builders Association Safety Award every year of the program.

Also honored at the Convention was Richard Pepper of Pepper Companies, who earned recognition for 35 consecutive years of donations to the AGC's Political Action Committee. Pepper ran Pepper Construction Company for 45 years and was an active member of the Association during that time, serving at Chairman of the Board from 1967-68. He oversaw the expansion of Pepper Construction into Texas, Indiana and Ohio.
