The Builders Association continued to support Chicago 2016 in its efforts to land Chicago’s first Olympic Games by helping Chicago 2016 “Make Chicago Shine” for the visiting International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Association purchased and distributed construction inspired items with the official 2016 logo.

The Association recognizes that bringing the Olympics to Chicago will mean new business and job opportunities throughout the industry. The Builders Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Board of Directors member Leon LaJeunesse to the Project Delivery Committee of the Associated General Contractors of America. LaJeunesse is President and Founder of Custom Contracting, Ltd., a general contractor in Lake Zurich.
