Erik Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Dana Wessman have been announced as the latest recipients of Builders Foundation Scholarships. Through the Foundation, Builders Association members have helped 18 college student pursue their dream of working in the construction field.
Over 100 represenatives of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers heard about a unique approach to sustainable building from Paul Hoffman at the Builders Association Spring Meeting Tuesday at the Hyatt Rosemont.
John Moebes - Director of Construction at Crate & Barrel and keynote speaker at the Builders Association's Annual Meeting last year - and Robert Krier of Builders Association member Hill Mechanical will be among the presenters at the Construction Management Association of America's Chapter Meeting Thursday, May 15.
Last year, Builders Association members helped raise over $30,000 to fund scholarships for students seeking a future in construction. Join us as we try to beat that mark at the Builders Foundation Golf Outing, Wednesday, July 30 at Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington.

The Environmental Protection Agency has earmarked $5 million in funds to help construction companies clean up their diesel engines and reduce emissions in the Midwest region alone. The Builders Association can help you obtain a portion of those funds to help pay for diesel retrofits.
